Lollipop (Param Pam Pam)
"Lollipop (Param Pam Pam)" is a Eurodance song by Romanian recording artist Alexandra Stan, released as her debut single in 2009. In early 2010, the song charted in Romania as it has finally peaked within the top twenty of the Romanian Top 100. After the worldwide success of "Mr. Saxobeat", the song re-released in mid-2011 for digital retailers in Belgium, France and the United States. It failed to enter any of the charts. The song samples "Fergalicious" by Fergie.
Music video
An accompanying music video was shot in March 2010 at the MediaPro Studios nearby Bucharest, Romania. It gathered over 8 million of views on YouTube as of September, 2011.[1]
Reception and controversy
The music video was met with mixed reception, being named one of the hottest and most edgy Romanian videos, despite many calling Stan a "whore" or a "cheap girl who rose to fame from nothing".[2]
